UUCU Self-contained Underwater Ultrathermic Cutting Unit

UUCU Sledge self-contained underwater ultrathermic cutting unit was designed “by divers for divers” since many Divetechno - service workers have reach experience of diving and underwater works in both military and civil organisations. During research and development work we collaborated with EMERCOM diving special ists as well. As a result of this work we present unique device that can be used on such water areas that are inaccessible for ships with standard ultratermic cutting equipment. UUCU Sledge can work autonomously at depths down to 60 meters. It consists of ergonomic stainless steel frame with 200 bar 15 liter O2 cylinder, 15 V ignition unit, control panel with O2 pressure reducer and 15 meter cutting umbilical for supply of BR-22 cutting torch. UUCU Sledge does not need any surface supply. Unique feature of UUCU Sledge is inbuilt O2 pressure adjustment system which helps the diver to adjust the cutting rate at any depth accordingly to his personal experience. The unit has small negative buoyancy so the diver can move it underwater easily. 15 meter umbilical gives an opportunity not to place the unit exactly at the place of work. Moreover, the unit can be used at the surface. The tests showed that during one autonomous session at 4 meter depth till the total cylinder discharge 19 Broco electrodes 3/8”x18” were used up. Herewith during this session the electrodes were ignited more than 25 times. If the mission demands more continuous work than the amount of O2 in cylinder can provide, there provided an O2 surface supply system. One standard 40 liter cylinder can three times increase the efficiency of UUCU Sledge. Unlike other self-contained devices UUCU Sledge has a high efficiency in autonomous mode and in-built arrangement for its three times increase without loosing the feature of unit’s deployment at difficult-of-access water areas.

Collect In Store?

Returns, refunds or exchanges?

You can return any item within 28 days of receipt for a refund, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging and in 'as new' condition.

Items will be refunded in full (less postage) if received within 28 days from the date of despatch.
