5mm or 7mm Beavertail Wetsuit

The traditional Beavertail Jacket and Farmer John long wetsuit is a 2-piece system that divers have trusted for decades. Supplied to the army, engineers and military worldwide the complete system gives users the maximum warmth of two layers of neoprene around the torso and one layer over the arms and legs for greater flexibility of movement.

The step-in jacket covers the arms and torso with a beavertail flap that passes through the crotch and fastens to the front. This has been a popular combination as it offers freedom of movement for the legs, and the beavertail helps minimize water flushing and prevents the jacket from riding up on the torso. The jacket also features an attached hood that helps prevent water from entering down the back of the neck.

The classic Farmer John wetsuit is a one-piece sleeveless suit that covers the legs and torso, made with flexible Kevlar® knees for ease of movement. All seams are glued and blind stitched for durability.

This suit recreates a timeless classic and is available in both 5mm and 7mm thicknesses. Additional printing of logos or reflective are available upon request. All Northern Diver wetsuits can be modified to a customer’s bespoke needs, adding additional pockets, Kevlar® panels, protective pads etc. You must contact the team to discuss this in more detail.

EU Areas

Please note that due to changes by HMRC, orders being shipped to EU countries will not be shipped on the same day as they are invoiced. EU Orders will now be shipped on the next working day. This only applies to E.U. orders. Domestic and Worldwide shipments remain the same.

Collect In Store?

When you go to the online checkout, you can opt to collect your items in store. We'll let you know when your order is ready for you to collect. Your order will normally be ready to collect the next working day.

Returns, refunds or exchanges?

You can return any item within 28 days of receipt for a refund, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging and in 'as new' condition.

Items will be refunded in full (less postage) if received within 28 days from the date of despatch.

THIS RETURNS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS. DETAILS OF WHICH ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU OR CONSUMER DIRECT.

We aim to deal with all returns and exchanges on the day they arrive, however please allow longer during peak periods.

You can return the item(s) by dropping them off in store or by returning the item(s) by post. We do not insist on a specific courier service for the return, so please use the most economical or appropriate method for returning the item(s).
